My Gay Best Friend is a heady mixture of high camp, melancholy reflection on friendships and the childhood dramas that haunt us all. Racquell (Louise Jameson) is a 50-something would-be diva who works in Boots but is about to make her stage debut. She’s locked herself in the ladies, furious because her gay best friend Gavin (Nigel Fairs) isn’t there to support her; he’s sitting in a walk-in wardrobe about to become a father with a lesbian couple and a turkey baster!
This is an adult themed play which will include foul language and a toilet.... Admission is strictly 16+. Younger teens may attend with parental accompaniment. Not suitable for those under 13.
We will be clearing Main Programming after Opening Ceremonies on Friday night and will seat people especially for this event. We will seat in the following order:
- All-Access and Reserved Members will be seated first. You'll start out in your assigned seat-- but once the 10 minute seating window closes, you'll have the opportunity to move up and fill in empty seats. You need to be seated in this 10 minute seating window in order to guarantee you get your assigned seat (or better).
- Priority Members will have their own window in which to grab seats-- including any unoccupied Reserved or All-Access seats.
- We will then seat General Admission Accessibility Services Members.
- Finally, General Admission Members will be able to choose any unoccupied seat, including those in the All-Access/Reserved section.
Once the play begins, no one will be admitted. No photography or recording of any kind permitted.
