Event description

Description

SMP Health was founded 5 years ago as a way to encourage women to be wholly healthy. We promote Spiritual, Mental, and Physical health by sharing information about our own personal journeys. We share our successes and our challenges. We share our progress and our pitfalls. We share our processes and our paths, all in an effort to encourage someone along the way. In the past, we have hosted various types of meeting ranging from vision board classes to home gardening tips. Now we are taking it to a new level by gathering women together in one place to be edified, encouraged and armed with information that will build the Spirit, Mind and Body. We are God’s creation, made in His divine image, for His divine purpose. Our bodies are created to glorify the Lord. Our foundational scripture is 1 Corinthians 6:19-20New King James Version (NKJV)19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a]and in your spirit, which are God’s. We have speakers gathering from around the greater Houston area to impart their knowledge and speak to you about health and wellness. There will be ministry in song, laughter and dance, as well. Doors Open at 9:30 A.M. For continental breakfast and perusing the vendors Conference will begin at 10:00 AM with prayer and praise and then continue with the presentations from our speakers. And finally wrap up with time to visit our various vendors. Our Speakers include: Michelle Savwoir Smith, Founder of SMP Health, Barbara Hicks, Christian Counselor, Ellycia McCants, and Ashley Jones. We will have Ministry in song by Britney Bloom, Ministry in laughter by Stacy Anderson and ministry in dance by Tonya Foreman. We look forward to being blessed with your presence as we move forward into being Wholly Healthy: Spiritually, Mentally and Physically. Vendors will be available. Continental breakfast items will be served
