My Adoption Journey Part 1: 10:00 am-4:00 pm (Friday) Families preparing for a domestic infant adoption will receive an introduction to some of the core topics present in adoption. This will include grief and loss in the adoption triad, attachment and bonding, and a discussion of the birth parent experience.
Part 2: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Saturday) This class will build on Part 1. Additionally, adoptive families will receive information about medical and background considerations in infant adoption,openness in adoption, the legal process, and Adoption Options' cradle care program.
**Lunch will not be provided. Please plan accordingly.**
Must partners attend this class together?
