Power Pitch Will Strike Home for Entrepreneurs
MVF Power Pitch 2017
Tuesday, May 2, 2017 3:30pm-8pm, Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, 975 N. Warson Rd., St. Louis, MO 63132. $20 per person (includes networking reception)

It’s not baseball, but it could be the most important pitch of the season for entrepreneurs who want to learn first-hand what potential investors expect from presenters. The Power Pitch program developed by MVF will feature mock presentations to actual investors by two start-up companies.

By observing mock presentations, entrepreneurs will gain valuable insights on how to best present and package presentations to attract the attention of potential investors, recognize and address what investors look for in a pitch proposal, understand how to increase the odds of successfully obtaining funding from reputable resources, and learn how to shorten the time between the pitch and profits.

Matt Kulig, President of MVF and co-founder of Aisle 411 Inc. said, “The ‘Power Pitch’ program is specifically designed to educate and empower entrepreneurs and falls in line with the many other innovative MVF programs and events held throughout the year that assist entrepreneurs through peer networking, topical education and access to capital resources.”

Mark your calendar and make a reservation NOW for Power Pitch, 3:30 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center (975 N. Warson Rd., 63132). Following the presentations there will be a networking reception.

Event Schedule:
3:30pm-4:00pm - Registration
4:00pm - Program Begins
6:30pm - Networking Reception
The event is $20 per person and includes reception following the event.

The four-member investor panel is comprised of professionals from across the nation, including Victor Kats, managing director of Ascension Ventures, Brian Hopcraft, managing director of Lewis & Clark Ventures, St. Louis and Thad Langford, founding partner at Flyover Capital, Kansas City.
