Description

Personal stories can be a powerful catlyst for change. Muslim American Leadership Alliance (MALA) provides a platform for Americans of Muslim heritage to share diverse narratives that recognizes individuality. "Muslim American Journeys" provides ordinary Muslim Americans a platform to share their personal journey – and an opportunity for recognition and shared understanding. In this special program join MALA and the National Hellenic Museum for an evening that celebrates this ground breaking project and participate in a panel discussion with three storytellers.

This program is a part of the Chicago Cultural Alliance's Inherit Chicago. Inherit Chicago is a city wide festival of art, ideas and performance at neighborhood heritage musuems and cultural centers. Head to InheritChicago.org for a full list of events!
