MusicPreneur is a three part speaker series dedicated to empowering music-minded entrepreneurs and young entertainment professionals to change the future of music through their careers and entrepreneurial endeavors. Each event will explore challenges and opportunities in the music industry through networking time, a panel discussion with Q&A and a “Resource Village” of partners for young professionals and entrepreneurs. In its third year, the series is a partnership between the Nashville Entrepreneur Center's Project Music, YEP (Young Entertainment Professionals) and the Mayor's Music City Music Council.

A multi-faceted dialog outlining the growing impact of live music and merch revenues, the challenges faced by touring artists and their teams and the innovation and career opportunities in live music . Joy Williams is a four-time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter and actress from Santa Cruz, CA who resides in Nashville with husband, Nate Yetton and son, Miles. She is best-known as one half of the popular duo The Civil Wars. Joy made her acting debut in July of 2016 as Janine Beckwith on the Showtime series Roadies, created by Cameron Crowe, JJ Abrams and Winnie Holzman. She continues to write and record music in addition to exploring new creative experiences as an actress.
Nate Yetton is the owner of sensibility music, created in 2008 as a music publishing, management and recording company. He is married to Joy Williams and resides in Nashville with Joy and son, Miles. Nate began in the music business working at several record labels in radio promotion and marketing, and then spent 3 years as A&R for EMI Music. He began managing his wife, Joy's career in 2008, and served as manager and independent record label for the four-time Grammy Award-winning duo, The Civil Wars. He continues to manage Joy's career and also currently co-manages a new Nashville-based band called Birdtalker.
