Musical Evening "Russian Romances frm Glinka to Rachmaninoff"

The Russian Cultural Center Our Texas presents a unique musical evening with musicians Elena Nikulshina-Fray (soprano) and Olga Zastrelkina-Szelc (piano). They will perform the most popular romances by great Russian composers.
A native of St. Petersburg, Russia Ms. Elena Nikulshina-Fray is an opera singer and vocal coach residing in Houston, TX. She is a graduate of Cherepovets Music College in piano performance and St. Petersburg Conservatory in opera voice performance. Elena debuted at Rimsky-Korsakov Music Theater as Tosca in the famous opera Tosca by Giacomo Puccini. From 1994 to 2000 she was a soloist for the St. Petersburg-Concert singing in over 500 performances. She also appeared as Amelia (Un Ballo in Maschera), Leonora (Il Trovatore), Iolanta (Iolanta), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Lisa (Queen of Spades), Nedda (I Pagliacci), and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) with numerous opera companies in Russia and in the United States. Currently Ms. Nikulshina-Fray is the owner, vocal coach, and pianist-accompanist of the Elena Voce Studio and the head of the concert group Elena Voce & Friends.
A native of Yekaterinburg, Russia, Ms.Olga Zastrelkina-Szelc is a pianist-accompanist and the piano instructor/owner of Olga's Piano Studio in Houston. Since moving to the U.S. in 2007, she has performed in numerous concert programs. She is also a member and staff accompanist for Elena Voce & Friends.
