Multiple Dates
Music & Mindfulness: Virtual Yoga with The American Pops Orchestra
Event Information
Description
The American Pops Orchestra is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our patrons and musicians, and we at APO have been actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and how it will affect our upcoming programs. As an organization that strives to break the mold of classical concerts, we are using this time of social distancing as an opportunity to continue to connect with all of our patrons virtually. With this in mind, we will be changing the format of our upcoming Yoga: Music and Mindfulness Practice on April 18th, 2020.
This event will no longer be taking place at Arena Stage on April 18th, but instead will be transformed into a virtual series to accommodate social regulations in place throughout our community. The series will be in 8 parts, each featuring APO musicians and original scores that will accompany our yoga instructor, Dan Carter, as he leads each unique practice. These practices will take place online throughout the month of April on Monday's at 6:00pm and Thursday's at 12:00pm EDT.

Please consider donating $15.00 per class or purchasing a ticket here on Eventbrite to help support our instructor, Dan Carter, and APO musicians through these uncertain times. Donations can be made at https://secure.givelively.org/donate/the-american-pops-orchestra/apo-virtual-yoga.
If you've already purchased a ticket, we ask that you will consider donating your ticket payment to help support our online yoga series (a tax-deductible donation), as we will continue to employ our artists throughout the postponing of live events. If you would like your order to be refunded, please email hannah@theamericanpops.org to initiate your refund.
