About this event
A magical evening of socialising and entertainment in a beautiful garden setting with tasty pizza straight from the oven complimented by a selection of wine. Violinist, artist director and founder of RimuFest Amelia Taylor will be performing alongside guest artists Violinist Joella Pinto, Cellist Martin Roberts and Yoshiko Tsuruta on Marimba. Showcasing music by Jessie Montgomery, Alex Monsour, Silvestre Revueltas and Astor Piazzolla Finishing off the night with audience activities.

RimuFest is more than this one concert it is a recent innovation, developing chamber music festival offering educational programmes and a concert series staged in Tauranga. It provides music collaboration opportunities for children aged 7 - 18yrs. As part of the festival, RimuFest presents accessible live performances to introduce people to the joys of classical music through innovation programming promoting New Zealand and Mexican composers.
