Description

The Office of the Governor Greg Abbott's Texas Music Office and Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Bureau will co-host a Music Friendly Community Workshop on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at LugNutz Bar in Nacogdoches.

Larry Nabors, owner of Lugnutz and pitmaster extraordinare will have pull pork and brisket sandwhiches witth all the fixings. $6.00 should cover it.

We're also encouraging players to bring their instruments and jam with us after the workshop.. Larry's got all the equipment so come on out, learn how Nacogdoches and the State want to promote music in our area, and have some fun too.

The workshop is FREE and open to anyone interested in learning about the new Texas Music Office program that seeks to foster music business economic development in Texas cities and communities. Brendon Anthony, director of the Texas Music Office within the Office of the Governor’s Economic Development and Tourism Division, will be present to explain the Music Friendly Community designation and answer questions.
