Mars Arts D.C. hosts a workshop for local musicians and industry professionals to advance skills around promoting themselves and their clients to a wide range of organizations, venues, and potential employers. Topics include maintaining an effective digital footprint, how to cultivate long-term relationships with presenters, contracts, working with educational institutions, and more. The workshop is led by Tara Villanueva (Arts Integration Program Manager, Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School) and Nicholas A. Brown (Director of Special Productions & Initiatives, Washington Performing Arts), who are both active as performers in addition to their roles as arts leaders.
