Event description

Description

After 120 years as a mini-cathedral to three generations of Irish dockworkers, 750-seat St. Veronica's has become THE concert hall of the West Village. Come hear the INAUGURAL concert, featuring some the world's finest musicians performing four great masterpieces of the 18th century. Led by Artistic Director and conductor Michael S. Feldman, the Orchestra at St. Veronica's will demonstrate the hall's superb acoustics with G.F. Handel's Concerto Grosso Opus 6, No. 5 - J.S. Bach's Wedding Cantata BWV 202 with soprano soloist Ariadne Greif - W.A. Mozart's Serenade in D K.239 "Serenata Notturna" for strings and timpani - and Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 47 in G "Palindrome". This concert is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Suggested Donation $15.
