Cuarteto Quiroga, appointed quartet-in-residence in charge of the Royal Collection of decorated Stradivarius at Madrid’s Royal Palace, has won international acclaim for its bold and original approach to the string quartet repertoire. The program features the newly rediscovered String Quartet in D minor, op. 6, no. 2, by Joao de Almeida, Ginastera’s String Quartet no. 1, and Beethoven’s last string quartet, the F Major, op. 135.
