Event description

Description

Evergreen Museum & Library is proud to kick-off the 2019-2020 Music at Evergreen concert series with a joint performance by violinist Benjamin Baker and pianist Daniel Lebhardt.

Baker, a New Zealand native, trained at the Royal College of Music in London before launching his professional career. His extensive résumé includes turns as a soloist with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Auckland Philharmonia, and the Maui Pops Orchestra. His album, The Last Rose of Summer, was released in 2015.

Lebhardt, a native of Hungary, started piano lessons at the age of six and later attended the Royal Academy of Music in London. He first garnered international attention when he won First Prize at the 2014 Young Concert Artists Auditions in Paris. Since then he has performed at the BBC Proms, the Louvre, and the Kennedy Center, among other venues. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see these two virtuosos in concert together!

Ticket includes admission to the museum guided tour (departs at 12 noon or 1 p.m.) and a post-concert reception with the musicians. Limited space; advance tickets are recommended.
