$10,000 Fundraising Goal

The Howard Foundation is raising money to support additional "Artification" of our school. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our Mural Art project, purchase a new piano for Orchestra, repair instruments and support a few other teacher needs at Howard. This school year has been especially hard to fundraise without being able to gather for our annual events. Mural Art Project

Local artists will be painting sections of the wall along the west side of the basketball court. These murals will add beauty to our school and provide an art gallery for our visual arts students to learn about local modern artists and careers in the art field for years to come. Downtown Arts District and the Thornton Park District are working closely with us on this project. Community partnerships are key to increasing donations for our classrooms and as well as providing our students opportunities to learn from professional artists, dancers, musicians, etc.
