If you joined us in April of 2016 you know Munch Madness was a great time for what we think is a great cause: supporting local foods.
You may have won tickets to next year's event or perhaps you are an early planner, so we have advance ticketing set up for Munch Madness 2017. Tickets are at a low discounted rate, but who knows for how long?
Please note that the DATE and LOCATION are tentative at this time! As the planning committee meets and once the board approves, we will update these details in the coming months. If you couldn't make it to the competition, read on to understand what the event is all about!
Each round chefs will have 30 minutes to prepare an iconic Indiana dish from start to finish, but of course we couldn't make it easy! During the competition, the chefs will bid on speedbumps to hand out and trip up their competitors. The chefs will start the evening with a budget for bidding, and will try to make it through each round with the best dish! The winner who manages to muster through these challenges and present the best food will be the Dig IN Munch Madness Champion!
Local food writer Sarah Murrell will be your emcee for the evening to help guide us through this madness. At specific times, she will call on you to help out your chef by adding credit to their bank. After the chefs scour the pantry and cook their dishes, an expert judge for each round will determine who is eliminated and who remains to try for the championship.
