Description

On January 26th at 7: 30 pm, CreArtBox will present the fifth edition of the CreArt Music Series at the New York Society for Ethical Culture.

CreArtBox is a chamber music collective that performs, and records the greatest works in the classical chamber repertoire and presents innovative works by established and emerging composers, incorporating theatrical and multimedia elements.

CreArtBox continues its mission working with living composers presenting a new piece written by the American Composer, Joshua Penman.

PROGRAM:

1. Beethoven, 'Kakadu' Variations for Piano Trio, Op. 121a.

2. Bryce Dessner, Murder Ballades.

3. Debussy, Petite Suite (arrange for flute, clarinet, and piano).

4. Joshua Penman, Moontides (World Premiere).

The performance will include a brief pre-concert talk by the Beethoven scholar and biographer Lewis Lockwood, and a multi-media video mapping installation by designer Guillermo Laporta.

This unique evening will be accompanied by a reception with food and wine in collaboration with KO Productions.
