Multilingual Pedagogy Professional Development- Session 3
Tue, March 28, 2017, 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM CDT
The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and the Department of Writing and Language Studies cordially invite you to participate in the Multilingual Pedagogy Professional Development series on the last Tuesday of every month (January-April). Upon attending the majority of sessions (3 of 4) and designing two new or revised linguistically-inclusive writing assignments (individually and collaboratively), you will be awarded a Multilingual Pedagogy teaching certificate. We look forward to collaborating and learning about your linguistically-diverse personal, professional, and pedagogical experiences!
The purpose of this series is to explore effective pedagogical practices that invite all students to purposefully draw and build on their diverse languages, cultures, literacies, and rhetorical knowledge. You will also have the opportunity to engage in conversation and network with faculty across academic disciplines to design effective face-to-face, online, and hybrid transdisciplinary writing assignments.
