Mujeres de Cine returns to Washington, D.C. to celebrate the best cinema created by Spanish women.

Discover the full program of 2018 Mujeres de Cine Film Series in Washington DC, presented by the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in collaboration with the National Museum of Women in the Arts and AFI Silver Theatre.

Life isn’t harmless. It can be exhausting and frustrating. Manuel would like to be a writer but instead of that he is trapped in his routine, unable to confront his emotions. Summer and the unexpected reunion with the best friends from his youth will make all his impulses explode. An adaptation of the homonymous novel by Manuel Jabois.

Important Information:

A reservation on Eventbrite is mandatory, printed tickets are not required.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A reservation does not guarantee a seat.

Doors open 20 minutes before posted showtime.

Ticket holders should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start to guarantee seats.

No Late Seating, ticket holders may not be allowed to seat 20 minutes after posted showtime.

How to get there: The best way to arrive is by public transportation. The closest Metro station is Columbia Heights (Green and Yellow line). Limited metered and two-hour zoned parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods. Public parking garage is available at DC USA Shopping Mall (Columbia Heights Metro Station).
