Dig out your best fanny pack and get ready to loosen your belt a notch, because Muddy's now offers kitchen tours! Peek behind the curtain to learn how it all works and have a blast with our team. Our tours are open to the public and occur once a month at our Broad Avenue baking kitchen.
*For an action-packed 2 hours, you'll watch our baking team create cupcakes, pies, and other treats while learning some secrets of our trade.
*Meet the real people who make the Muddy's treats you love, and try your hand at a few baking tasks. But don't worry, we won't make you wash dishes!
*It's educational, too! Follow along on the tour with a trivia sheet and test your math skills with kitchen conversions.
*Ah, we know what you'll really come for: the tastings! But we're not just going to let you grab a Frankly Scarlett cupcake and run. You'll learn the difference between eating and tasting to experience how our team assesses product quality.
Can I bring my kids?
We operate a big kitchen with big equipment. With safety in mind, we cannot permit children under the age of 12 in the kitchen on public tours.
Can I bring my group of 15?
If there are enough tickets available for the date, yes, absolutely! Alternatively, you may schedule a private tour for $240 for a maximum of 20 guests.
What should I wear?
Whatever you fancy, so long as it includes closed-toe shoes.
Where do I park?
Plenty of free parking is available on Broad Avenue.
What if I have allergies?
We bake with flour, tree nuts, peanuts, and many of your other usual allergens, and cannot guarantee that you or your tasting items will not come into some contact with any of these things. Our bakers are careful to prevent items containing nuts from contaminating items that do not, but they are (believe it or not) human. All tasting items are nut free but NOT vegan or flourless. Contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you wish to taste vegan or flourless items for an additional fee.
What if I need to cancel?
All ticket sales are final. Rescheduling your tour date may be a possibility, however, if you give us at least 5 business days' notice.
