Description

This will be a custom Mountain Climb to summit Mount Baker Easton Glacier guided by Mountain Madness. With its twelve active glaciers and breathtaking views, 10,781 foot Mount Baker provides a scenic and extremely rewarding mountaineering experience for both first-time climbers and seasoned veterans alike. This is a beginner climb and no experience is required. Here is the link to the sample itnerary. We will meet at Ascent Outdoors in Seattle, WA on Friday and carpool to the trailhead at Schreiber's Meadow (3,200 feet) on the south side of Mt. Baker.

Skill Level: All Skill Levels welcome (see details above)

Cost: ~ $675 per person (dependant on the Client to Guide Ratio of 5:1 - total group of 10); we can also discuss best group transportation closer to the event based on the group's preference (carpool, rent van or bus, etc).

NEW ATTENDANCE POLICY. PLEASE READ.

Hi ladies! Mtn Chicks Founder, Dani, here. We have some new events planned for the remainder of this year and 2018. Unfortunately we see some no-shows at our events, which makes it difficult for those of you that can attend to get a spot on the RSVP list (please note that we cap events for safety and leave no trace principles). Due to this, we are rolling out a new 2-strike attendance policy for ambassador planned events. Below are the details. If you have any questions about this policy, please let us know right away! We are simply trying to make the RSVP experience better for all of you.

1. If you RSVP for a Mtn Chicks official event and can no longer attend, you must cancel 24hrs before the event. We will always send out a link detailing how to do so.

2. If you must cancel your RSVP the day of the event, you must notify the Mtn Chicks Ambassador planning the event. Our contact information will be made available to those that RSVP. Facebook messenger is a good option as well.

3. Failure to do the above and not show up to an event you RSVP'd for will result in a strike.

4. Upon your second strike, you will not be allowed to attend the third event you try to RSVP for. Should you RSVP for a third event after your second strike, we will cancel your ticket and email you privately so you are aware.

5. On the fourth event, the process will start all over and you will have a clean slate.

FAQ:
-Does this only count for consecutive events? No, we will keep track of the events you as an individual RSVP for. If you RSVP and do not show up for an event in December, then the next event you RSVP and do not show for is in February, this will count as 2 strikes for you.
-I don't know how to cancel my ticket, how do I do that? When you RSVP, a link on how to do so will be sent to you.
-What if I have an emergency the day of and can't get a hold of you? Please do the best you can to notify us. We're not trying to prevent members from attending these events, we're trying to make sure we're all communicating and those that can attend an event are given the opportunity to do so.
