Description

MTAWA (The Mentoring neTwork for African Women in Academia) is an organization that establishes and builds networks for African women in academia in support of their academic and professional growth and success. On July 24-25, 2018, we will hold the MTAWA Panel Discussion and Graduate Career Workshop at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Our target audience comprises women students and professionals with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees interested in pursuing graduate degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields where women are traditionally underrepresented.

Accomodations

Rooms are available at the Sino-Africa Joint Research Center (SAJOREC, See brochure) on the JKUAT Juja campus with rates as follows:

Executive Room: Ksh 8,000

Deluxe Room: Ksh 6,000

Twin Room: Ksh 4,000
