About this Event
Jazz pianist and composer Bruce Barth has performed with iconic jazz masters and collaborated with leading musicians for over 30 years, appearing on over 125 recordings and movie soundtracks.
Bruce has had extended collaborations with Terrell Stafford, Steve Wilson, Tony Bennett and others. He has also performed with Phil Woods, Freddie Hubbard, Branford Marsalis, Art Farmer, and the Mingus Big Band.
His recordings display his powerfully fluent piano playing and demonstrate the scope of his own compelling compositions as well as his imaginative arrangements of jazz standards.
Bruce Barth is also a dedicated teacher, currently on the music faculty of both Temple University and Columbia University.
There is street parking available for this concert. There are also 2 school owned parking lots to the west of the school on Selden St between Cass and 2nd Ave or you can use the DSO parking lot located just east of the school building.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 on the day of the concert.
Use the Selden St entrance to access the Aaliyah Recital Hall inside the school .
