Join us as we welcome leaders of several affinity bar associations to discuss how they are addressing some of the issues and events that have caused division in our nation. The discussion will highlight their collaborative efforts to foster unity, justice, diversity and inclusion within the state of New Jersey and beyond.

Prior to the reception, a CLE program regarding implicit bias will be offered from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm in Room E108. Professor Stacy Hawkins, a renowned expert on employment law and diversity, will discuss the science behind implicit bias and the implications of implicit bias for the practice of law and the administration of justice. In addition, Professor Hawkins will identify practical techniques for overcoming the operation of implicit bias in an attorney’s daily practice and in the legal profession.
