The Town Hall will discuss relevant issues and concerns related to the opioid and illicit drug crisis and related prescribing laws.

About this Event

Purpose: The Town Hall will bring together physicians and other interested stakeholders to discuss relevant issues and concerns related to the opioid and illicit drug crisis and related prescribing laws.

Format: In-person, livestreamed town hall meeting with a moderator and diverse panel of experts . Introductions to be followed by case study discussions. Audience encouraged to submit case studies ahead of time and will be able to ask related questions during meeting.

Focus: Setting a brief historical perspective regarding Michigan’s opioid epidemic, discussing the new laws' impact on the epidemic and care delivery, and identifying strategic goals and policy solutions moving forward.
