Description

MSF On the Road: A Voice from the Field is a special traveling speaker series that explores the mission of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and discusses the challenges of bringing life-saving medical care to the most dangerous and remote areas of the globe.

This event will feature mental health officer Karen Stewart, who will share her experiences from 11 assignments with MSF.

Please join us for this unique, in-person opportunity to engage with MSF in your community.

Doors open at 1:30pm.

Presentation begins at 2:00pm.

Reception follows at 3:00pm.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Registration is required.

1. Do I need a ticket?
There are NO tickets for this event. Simply check in at our registration table when you arrive.

2. May I bring a guest?
Absolutely! Just be sure to register for yourself and all guests. Your guests can also register directly at doctorswithoutborders.org/ontheroad.

3. Where do I park?
The Central Library has a 143-stall underground parking garage with an entrance on Spring Street between Fourth and Fifth Avenues. Additional parking garages may also be found in the vicinity of the library. We also encourage use of public transportation where possible.

4. Is the venue accessible?
All Seattle Public Library locations, restrooms, and meeting rooms are accessible, with automatic doors at all main entrances. Designated accessible parking spaces are available at all Seattle Public Library locations. There is elevator access to all levels, with verbal cues at each floor, at the Seattle Public Library-Central Library.
