Suitable for Key Stage 1 & 2 (ages 5 to 11)

Learners will be introduced to a variety of sources to learn about the history of M&S in the Leeds area. You'll piece together the clues to create a collage of life in the past. This session is for ages 5 to 11 and activities in the session will vary in ability to ensure everyone can participate.

Learning Objectives:

- To learn about British social history through the story of M&S

- To understand the nature and purpose of an archive, and how to use archives for research

- To select appropriate sources of information to answer questions - historical enquiry

- To find out what life was like in the past for people in the local area

- To have fun

Please let us know in advance if your child has any specific learning or access needs.

There is a maximum number of 25 places per session.

The minimum requirement for each session is 14 children, otherwise we regret that the session will be cancelled and we will notify everyone who had booked.
