Since 2006 The Brothers of the Road Band have been performing for thousands of Allman Brothers fans from New England to Georgia. While concentrating on the music of The Allman Brothers the band has continually evolved through various musicians and period of focus from the early Live at The Filmore era to the more recent line up with Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes and Great Southern’s arrangements of Dickey Betts/Allman Brothers tunes.

A current performance includes deep ABB catalog selections and song arrangements performed by The Dickey Betts Band, Dickey Betts & Great Southern and Tedeschi/Trucks. The show adds a Beacon Theater performance dimension using the actual horn charts from Allman Brothers Beacon Shows. 2019 shows will feature our newest member of the Brothers of the Road Band Family Sean Sullivan on vocals.

Guests players have included, Yonrico Scott (Derek Trucks Band), Wayne Cobham (Wilson Pickett), Andy Aledort (Dickey Betts), Singer songwriter Josi Davis, Turtle Goulart (Adam Ezra), and various harmonica players and vocalists. Multi media and liquid light projections complete the show.

Dark Hollow

There’s nothing like a Grateful Dead concert.” Those old bumper stickers have seen a lot of mileage over the years. It was in the spirit of creating in the moment - the live concert experience, and a love of ‘The Great American Songbook’ that inspired the founding members of Dark Hollow to set out on their journey back in 1996. They’ve sought to carry on the Dead’s live tradition and tap into the collective band/crowd relationship that transforms ordinary moments into magic.

Dark Hollow is now entering their 22nd year paying tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead. Known for their dynamic performances, the band crafts songs from the extensive Dead family catalog to create unique concert experiences. Their ability to move seamlessly between songs and musical styles enables them to tell a musical story that both honors the original song versions and allows the band members to create new interpretations. And when the special moments arrive, they aim to elevate the room and lift your collective feet off the ground. To tap into the energy between the band and the audience.

Anchored by founding members Mike Vincitore (Lead Guitar) and Mike O’Hara (Lead Vocals/Guitar), the band includes Jeff Roney (Drums), Aaron Fried (Bass), Mark Nanni (Keys), Jack Jarvis (Drums) and Mike Hamilton (Rhythm Guitar). Performances will often include guests from the band’s large network of fellow musicians. The band’s strong musical chemistry and individual talents set the backdrop for powerful vocal performances, soaring guitar and keyboard leads, backed by a powerful and versatile rhythm section that sets the groove.

The band has performed on bills with Moe., Melvin Seals and Terrapin Flyer, Vince Welnick, New Riders of The Purple Sage, Donna Jean Godchaux, and many more. They have self-produced a variety of standalone and themed concert events, including recent partnerships with Critz Farms and Sharkey’s in Central New York. They have and continue to work with venue promoters to create and participate in unique music events.
