Event description

Description

This event will highlight the experiences, hurdles, and successes of female leaders in Pennsylvania as part of the Moving Women Forward tour, a series of town hall style discussions held at institutions of higher learning across Pennsylvania to encourage more young women and minorities to pursue careers and leadership positions in public service and transportation. The Moving Women Forward tour was launched by PennDOT Secretary Leslie S. Richards and First Lady Frances Wolf in 2017.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our panel of women leaders:

  • Leslie S. Richards, Secretary of Transportation for Pennsylvania

  • Jill Krause, Assistant District Executive for Maintenance at PennDOT

  • Annmarie Vigilante, Senior Associate/Vice President of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services

Lehigh University's Vice President of Finance and Administration, Patricia Johnson, will provide welcoming remarks. Becky Bradley, Executive Director of the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, will moderate the event. Directly following the panel, there will be an opportunity to network with students and young professionals.
