Event description

Measurement Resources is excited to launch the Spring 2019 Cohort of its new Moving Missions Leadership Academy. Through a six-week, peer-driven cohort approach, Measurement Resources will guide participants through the process of making your organization irresistible to funders. Cohort participants will discover the specific formula needed to lead, measure, and scale your organization, and as a result, achieve lasting social impact.

Why participate in the Moving Missions Leadership Academy?
Funding is the lifeblood for all organizations in the business of social change. But when your resources are limited, so is your impact. It has become clear that the antiquated approach to how we should run nonprofits and government organizations is no longer working. Fortunately, there is a new and better way that makes it possible to create an environment, where attracting the resources you need to achieve your mission occurs with more ease and less stress. By implementing certain behaviors and practices, you and your team will spend less time chasing money and will have more time to focus on the important activities that will move your mission forward.

Schedule, Topics, and the Cohort Community
The cohort will meet weekly as a group via Zoom, the online video webinar platform. These sessions will be recorded and available for those participating in the cohort to revisit, or to catch up if needed. We will send out the link to participate prior to these meetings. Please mark your calendar now to save the following dates and times for these weekly calls.

All calls will take place on Thursdays, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm Eastern Time:

  • Week 1: The Irresistible Vision (March 28)
  • Week 2: Success through Strategy (April 4)
  • Week 3: Creative Collaboration (April 11)
  • Week 4: Overcome Resistance and Successfully Change Management (April 18)
  • Week 5: Prove your Unarguable Value (April 25)
  • Week 6: Build a Culture of Resilience (May 2)

In addition to attending these online cohort sessions, participants will be expected to hold each other accountable and offer encouragement to each other. To facilitate this, Measurement Resources will set up a Private Facebook page. Measurement Resources will also share additional tools and templates throughout the six weeks, to help you implement these behaviors into your daily practice. All cohort participants will also receive a copy of the book, Impact & Excellence (a $38.00 value).
