MOVING INWARD
About this event
We are excited to offer a new series of Moving Inward, our movement based online creative sessions. Over the course of June 2020 we will be offering a 1.5 hour session every Friday .
This series is designed to connect to our body and check-in with yourself through guided movement and physical theatre. Together we will move energy, release stress and anxiety, and connect to our imagination while observing and expressing how things manifest in our body. The sessions will also allow you to connect with other people in a small and intimate group.
You don’t need any experience with theatre and movement-based work. We recommend that you register for the whole series and join all 4 sessions so we can deepen the experience each week.
What you'll need:
- Some space to move (make sure to have some space to lay on the floor comfortably and some space to move your arms extended on both sides of your body)
- A music device other than the one you will use to connect to Zoom (if available)
- Your favourite songs (suggestions will also be offered during the session)
We invite you to 'pay what feels right' for the session by supporting us on GoFundMe:

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THIS SERIES
"The Recrear Moving Inward sessions have been really enriching and have brought me a lot of joy in this strange and often lonely time. The facilitators are skillful, warm and wise and the participants, spread around the globe, have been so open with each other in our brief time together. I would encourage anyone to join a session if you have time and are curious. There's very little pressure to share, so the experience can be as safe and easy as you need it to be, or can be more challenging/vulnerable if you're ready for that. Seeing rows of friendly smiles from around the world has done my heart good."
"The moving inward sessions have helped me to connect with myself - they have always led to interesting reflections or realisations."
