The Tennessee State Library and Archives invites Tennessee teachers to attend a workshop exploring the vibrant and audacious social reform movements and the subsequent reformers of the 19th century. Focusing on primary sources, this workshop will examine topics such as
- Sectional differences between the North and South
- Second Great Awakening
- Abolition
- Underground Railroad
- Early Women's Suffrage
Teacher participants receive lunch and six hours of professional development credit.
