Queendom & Meeyogi
This is the very first installment of Movement Through Poetry; a celebration of women’s bodies by promoting peace through action. We will feature some of the most popular poets on the east coast including the world renowned DeTyme POET, Smoken Words' own and nationally recognized, Nova Cane and Tampa’s own, Phillip Scott and Dennis Amadeus and a few others. In addition to poetry, we will have yogis bending, moving, and bringing the words alive. This showcase is sure to stimulate the mind and body.
Along with the show, we will include some of our favorite vendors of handmade jewelry, art, apparel, health & beauty and of course, food! We are excited to bring this awesome fusion to the Tampa Bay Area. This is not an event you want to miss! Invite your girls for a night out, or date night with your partner, or simply come to witness a captivating performance. With Christmas around the corner, you’ll have a chance to grab last-minute gifts and support small businesses.
Light fare and libations will be available during the show. For exclusive seating and an opportunity to meet the spoken word artists and yogis, reserve a VIP package.
Tickets: $15/online, $20/door
VIP package: $50 (groups of up to 4 people, receive front-row table seating, a complimentary beverage and access to meet the performers after the show.)
