MOVEMENT IS _____ WORKSHOP
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for an hour and a half long movement workshop developed by the fitness professionals, educators, and artists of the Borscht Collective!
The workshop is designed for movers and non-movers alike looking to enhance body awareness and improve mental clarity. It is an abridged version of our MOVEMENT IS ___ workshop series and combines elements from all four workshops:
MOVEMENT IS Reiki Recharge & Meditation
MOVEMENT IS For 9-5
MOVEMENT IS Body, Mind & Heart
MOVEMENT IS a Language
We start by building on familiar forms of movement and wellness such as yoga, pilates, and meditation. We then introduce ideas and skills like body language awareness, composition structures, and constructive feedback methods borrowed from practices common in the performing arts.
The goal of the MOVEMENT IS ____ workshop is to help people re-imagine their connection to movement and make movement accessible for everybody. Experience how MOVEMENT IS empowering, inspiring, invigorating, and for EVERY BODY!
5.30 - 7 PM March 11th
Saint Peter's Church
