MOVE, Inc - 2017 Youth Symposium "I Can Make MOVEs Too"
This year’s theme is “I Can Make MOVEs Too,” where the focus is building self-confidence and esteem in young girls. The goal is for the young ladies to feel they can accomplish anything from starting a business to earning a college degree. This year our symposium is not just for the youth but also for the parents, there will be youth and parent workshops. Young ladies in 5th - 12th grade are welcome to attend and invite their parent to join the event!
By hosting this event, we are meeting our organizational goals where we conduct annual workshops and programs that will educate and motivate students to develop themselves as global leaders. Our main goal is to recruit more students so they can obtain these leadership and management skills to help them make smarter decisions, build confidence, and give them flexibility to become adaptable to any background or setting.
The mission at MOVE, Inc. is to understand the needs of every student and help provide resources, educational development, cultural enrichment, and entrepreneurial skills, so our students can become global leaders in the 21st century. This mission will be implemented through the offering of a mentoring program, professional development workshops, networking and more. The founders of this organization are committed to our students, ensuring their blueprints to success are well designed and ready to put into action.
