HARLEM RESET - a wellness experience through music, meditation and movement
HARLEM RESET will be a day of celebration, honoring the work of women in the Community through wellness and restorative health practice. RESET attendees will learn the basic principles of guided meditation, relaxation breathing exercises and restorative yoga poses. We look forward to providing a day of renewal to women.

Brandee Younger - The Harpista
A fearless and versatile talent, harpist Brandee Younger defies genres and labels as a classically-trained musician playing in the avant-garde tradition of her sonically forward predecessors Dorothy Ashby and Alice Coltrane. Ms. Younger delivers a consistently fresh take on the ancient instrument as an educator, concert curator, performer and leader of the Brandee Younger Quartet. Ms. Younger has produced an impressive body of work since the 2011 debut of her seminal Prelude EP, including Brandee Younger Live @ The Breeding Ground, a breakthrough performance on Bluenote Records and Revive Music’s 2015 Supreme Sonacy Vol. 1 LP, and the more recent release of her critically-acclaimed 2016 Wax & Wane LP.
Dr. Karinn Glover
Dr. Karinn Glover, is a board certified physician who specializes in mental wellness and teaches stress reducing mindfulness skills that increase professional and personal success. Born in the Bronx and raised in White Plains, New York, Dr. Glover has spent the greater part of her adult life following her interests in science, health and improving life for women and the underserved. Dr. Glover has also contributed to various media outlets on a range of topics related to mental wellness. She uses mindfulness-based techniques in both her psychiatry practice as well as her career coaching for professional women. She is the immediate past Vice President of the Black Psychiatrists of Greater New York and Associates.
move and groove yoga - Founders Courtney Liddell and Latressa Fulton
Courtney Liddell is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher and a sound healer. She began teaching in 2014, with a mission to share the benefits of yoga with a more diverse population. Her goal is to help people develop a yoga practice regardless of age, income, ethnicity, or body type. Her teaching experience includes the Harlem YMCA, Family Yoga at the Bronx Settlement Community Center and GrassROOTS Community Foundation in New Jersey.
Latressa Fulton, event producer, is a social engagement and wellness practioner with a community focus. She creates impactful experiences that educate and empower participants to better care for themselves and their communities. Through partnerships between local businesses and institutions, Latressa helps residents create functional, accessible health practices so they can learn, grow and thrive where they live. She is a Birchbox The Future Starts Now Fund Winner.

FAQs
How much does the event cost?
It's pay as you wish but we suggest a $25 donation.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. In order to participate in class you must be 18 or older. If you are under 18, a legal guardian must sign a liability release form before class begins.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
B, C, 2, 3 are close by to Harlem Parish
What can I bring into the event?
Wear comfortable clothing. Mats will be provided to the first 40 registered guests.
What time does everything start?
Silent meditation starts at 1:30pm. (Our doors will close during the meditation). We will reopen for anyone who wants to join yoga that starts at 2:00pm.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We will accept both printed tickets and tickets on your device. But frankly, a printed copy makes registration easier.
