Event Details

This workshop is intended for the younger skiiers and snowboarders. We will meet at Alpental Plaza.

Please note, the location for this workshop has changed from previous years. It will be held at Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue. 1211 State Route 906 Snoqualmie Pass WA 98068.

Students should come prepared to spend time outside in the snow. (Snow pants & coat, warm boots, hat, and gloves.)

We will spend a significant amount of time outside. Folks could also bring a snack; 4 hours of class tends to make people hungry!

This workshop covers:

  • Safety Code
  • Trail Maps
  • Battle of the Signs
  • Avalanches
