Description

MOUNTAIN | September 7, 2018

**Due to the chance of rain Friday evening, we will be hosting the screening in Goodman Auditorium at the Program Center. To keep the fun vibe, please bring your pads and camping chairs for seating!**

A unique cinematic and musical collaboration between the Australian Chamber Orchestra and BAFTA-nominated director Jennifer Peedom, MOUNTAIN is a dazzling exploration of our obsession with mountains. Only three centuries ago, climbing a mountain would have been considered close to lunacy. The idea scarcely existed that wild landscapes might hold any sort of attraction. Peaks were places of peril, not beauty. Why, then, are we now drawn to mountains in our millions? MOUNTAIN shows us the spellbinding force of high places – and their ongoing power to shape our lives and our dreams.

Join The Mountaineers for a FREE outdoor screening of MOUNTAIN in our outdoor climbing plaza. Bring your blankets, camp chairs and z-pads to enjoy this amazing film with other outdoor enthusiasts.

This event is for Mountaineer members and their family. We have limited space available and this is a special appreciation night for the Mountaineers community.

Prior to the show, FREE beer will be provided to those of 21+ age as it lasts! So come early to socialize and catch up with your Mountaineer community. Donations are appreciated and proceeds will go towards The Mountaineers.

Doors and Bar | 6:00 pm
Showtime | 7:45 pm
Show ends | 9:00 PM
