Motivating people is the secret to successful business management - and maybe to life! In this workshop, find out from Ms. Joyce Bertram - TEDx speaker and veteran volunteer manager for Europe's version of Burning Man - how to inspire people committed to your mission and seamlessly integrate them into your organisation, even without financial reward.
During this workshop, we encourage you to share your own experience and learn how to:
- create space for volunteers within your organisation
- recruit volunteers
- organise, manage and enourage volunteers to contribute to your cause
The Workshop Leader:
Joyce Bertram has been involved with volunteerism for ten years and has a broad experience with various event and organisations depending on their effort. Having managed volunteer recruitment, coordination and providing guidance for businesses exploring volunteerism, she has a broad skill set and a lot of experience in the field. Her hands-on mentality and willingness to always explore new projects and opportunities have kept her up-to-date with the latest developments and new concepts.
Joyce is Dutch, but currently based in Brussels. She has worked with several festivals and events world wide, including Burning Man. She has managed volunteers for one of the largest music venues in The Netherlands and has managed teams up to eighty people.

Share Your Super Power with the inQube Community!
inQube is about knowledge-sharing among women -- some new to the career marketplace, and some more experienced but looking to try new things, e.g. starting their own digitally-driven commercial or social enterprise. Do you have a secret super power (big or small!) -- building resumes, time management, bookkeeping tips & tricks, online marketing, etc. -- that you would like to share with a group of kind and curious women who could really benefit from what you know, and that you can share in an open, relaxed and non-judging setting? Then please get in touch with us!
Your contribution to the inQube community can pay you back in free attendance at workshops and events run by inQube and other community members, so anything you contribute -- in English, Dutch, French or whatever language in which you're most comfortable -- will definitely come back to you.
