MotionOptic Cloughjordan is an augmented reality choreography experienced through your mobile phone and which makes use of 360 degree film.

About this Event

MotionOptic Cloughjordan is an augmented reality choreography experienced through your mobile phone, and which makes use of 360 degree film.

Co-created with Cloughjordan residents Patrick O’Connor and Aaron Bailey, the work draws from the martial arts movement tradition that they hold in their bodies (Lin Ching Wu), and researches how to create a dance from that starting point.

How audiences experience the work:

  • One by one, via their own mobiles phones.
  • At a pre-designated 10 minute time slot.
  • On arrival the audience member will be given instructions of where to stand, and how to access the work.

MotionOptic Cloughjordan is part of a wider Instant Dissidence research project titled Dancing The Virus Apocalypse.
