Event description

Description

"A mother who radiates self-love and self-acceptance actually vaccinates her daughter against low self-esteem." This is an Equine Assisted Learning retreat for Mothers and Daughters (ages 12+). Research has shown that healthy attachments with parents and caregivers can decrease depression and anxiety by 80%. Working on relationships that can be challenging brings us closer together and helps us develop deep empathy and intimacy. This retreat will focus on mindful exploration of "self" in this relationship, managing our expectations of the relationship, learning to grow in healthy communication with each other, and learning to express self in a healthy and meaningful way. With the beautiful landscape of The Barn for Equine Learning, and the intuitive nature of the horses this is sure to be a time that you and your daughter will not soon forget.
