Motherland: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow - A Black History Month Event

A FREE, unique, multicultural, intergenerational community-wide educational celebration of art, music, culture, contributions, history, legacy and opportunities.

FEATURING:

FORGOTTEN IMAGES

  • An exhibition of authentic cultural artifacts of African American heritage from the 1600's.

WALL OF EXCELLENCE HONORS (FRI. FEB. 7 @ 4PM)

  • Recognizing individuals for outstanding service to people and projects in African American communities.

DUKE GIVENS PRESENTS (THURS. FEB. 6 @ 6PM)

  • Dress the Way You Will Be Addressed: A look at fashion throughout the years.

Youth sessions, panel discussions, featured speakers, musical performances and more!

  • SIGNATURE SPONSOR - $10,000 Gift: This premier sponsorship support provides you with booth space for company/organization collateral, a banner with name and logo recognition, priority seating at all weekend events, recognition as major sponsor in all publicity, social media, partner websites and marketing materials, 10 seats at a special film event and VIP reception, full-page ad in event program.
