The Farmington Valley Links continue their global awareness series on Sunday, March 10th at St. John’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford, CT. Global LINKages (previously named Sundays@4) was started 28 years ago by the Farmington Valley chapter of the Links, Incorporated with a mission to inspire, enhance and enrich the Greater Hartford community through the sharing of current trends and topics related to people of African descent around the globe.
The March 10th program honors women’s health month with “Mothering while Black: A Life-or-Death Crisis”. The audience will have the opportunity to interact with a panel of physicians who will discuss the reproductive health disparity of black women around the globe.
Global LINKages is free and open to the public with easy parking at the St. John’s Episcopal Church at 679 Farmington Ave in West Hartford, CT. All programs begin at 2pm.
