Greetings,

Please join us in celebrating the Spring Season. There will be craft and gift vendors, psychics, healers, music, performers, instructors, presenters, workshops and special early Earth Day and Beltane activities! We will have a dedicated Children’s Activity and Reading Center with “Book Exchange” and Adult and Children’s crafting, planting, faerie garden creating, presentations and workshops! With many Spring themed activities, games and entertainment, there will something fun for everyone!

PLEASE READ ALL “TICKET TYPES” CAREFULLY AS THERE ARE MANY SELECTIONS!

We will be on the main road in a highly traveled area with our banner visibly displayed where it will be viewed by all who pass by! Our venue is the renowned Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant and Ballroom that has been serving customers since 1978! Our event will be held on Sunday, April 9th, 2017 from 11:00am to 6:00pm which will be right during prime dining hours with the Sunday Champagne Brunch Grand Buffet seating at 12:00pm noon and with seating for dinner noon through 9:00pm with prime dinner hour beginning at 5:00pm. Our host, Evan Liaskos, has been extremely involved in working with many various non-profit organizations and prestigious businesses and clientele and will help promote our event throughout Westchester County. We have also invited the Van Cortlandtville Elementary School PTA and school students to host the Bake Sale. Our event information will be included in the school district's monthly newsletter. Marketing also includes flyers and listings reaching over 100,000 area residents as well as being found on professional fair and festival networks. All event participants will be featured and marketing on our website, on our Facebook Page and Facebook Event Page. Your information will remain posted for the entire year and will then be archived but still accessible for everyone to find.

Mother Nature Spring Craft, Gift & Psychic Festival

Vendor spaces allow for a 6’ table with 2 chairs and the rate is $75 for a single space/$85 with electricity and $130 for a double space/$140 with electricity.

Psychic “Reader Only” spaces allow for a small table with 2 chairs and the rate is $40.

Psychic “With Product Table” spaces allow for a 6’ table with 2 chairs and the rate is $75.

Author spaces allow for a 6’ table with 2 chairs and the rate is $50. Authors agree to provide free Book Signings throughout the event and free Group Book Readings (up to four – fifteen minute readings) at specific times in accordance to our Event Schedule throughout the event. Author spaces will be located in the tent area only.

All vendors, psychics, healers and authors are responsible to donate an item for our raffle. Remember that your item represents you - make sure to include your business card with your item!

You are responsible to bring your own 6' table, table cloth and chairs or small table and chairs for psychic readers. There will be none available should you happen to forget something at home. Take some extra time to make sure that you have remembered everything that you need to bring.

We have worked out the kinks from our last event at this venue to ensure that this event runs smoothly with no surprises! Vendors will be located in the “Ballroom.” Psychics will be located in the “Bridal Suite.” Authors, Activities, Performers, Workshops, Presenters and Entertainment will be located in the “Tent.” There will be no vendors located in the tent unless specifically asked to be placed in the tent.

Electrical outlets are limited! If you absolutely need electricity for your table display then make sure to check off the proper “Ticket Type” that includes electric. If you do not see this option available then that means the spaces with electric outlets have sold out and there are no more available.

There will be only one vendor per company. Hand-made crafts are encouraged! Psychics and Healers are encouraged to attend!

Setup will start at 8:30 AM - please be prompt. No-one will be able to set-up after 10:00 AM. All vehicles must be parked at the far end of the parking lot after unloading. Everyone is responsible to keep their space clean during and after the event. No items or displays are to infringe in the aisles or interfere with customers walking area or neighboring vendor space. This policy will be strictly adhered to. Vendors, psychics, healers and authors are not to begin break-down until 6:00 PM.

Announcing a very special arrangement that we have made with our host. Cortlandt Colonial is offering us a Vendor Breakfast Special. They have extended their Brunch Grand Buffet to us at an extremely amazing rate. Fill a large plate with as much as you like of their incredible brunch food for only $12. Only one time up to the buffet though but you can load your plate high. If you want more than one time up to the buffet then you are more than welcome to pay the regular price of $28.95. Pay now for this special vendor breakfast buffet (prior to the event) if you want to take advantage of this special offer by including it with your application and payment or if you decide at a later date, but still before the event, just come back to this page and you can purchase the breakfast special by itself. This offer is only available to our event participants.

You will be asked how many breakfast specials you would like to order for yourself and any helpers that you will be bringing with you. This offer will not be available the day of the event! If you decide to take part of the breakfast buffet at the event, you will be charged the regular $28.95 by the restaurant. No refunds will be given if you order breakfast now and change your mind later. You will be able to pay for the breakfast buffet until 8:00pm Friday, April 7th, 2017.

Please select the appropriate “Ticket Type” for the Volunteer Position that you are interested in filling. Description of all Volunteer Positions will be shown under “Ticket Type.” If you have another workshop or something relative to the event that you would like to present, please contact us at: MotherNatureSpringFestival@gmail.com We would love to hear from you!

All volunteers must agree and consent to having a complete background and reference check and sex offender/pedophile search as volunteers will be working either directly with children or in the same space with children.

As you submit your vendor space payment, you will be prompted to answer several questions. These questions serve as your application. You will also be prompted to agree and consent to the General Agreement and Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement. Once you finish this process, there is nothing more for you to submit and you will receive an email of acceptance or denial due to double representation for vendors.

GENERAL AGREEMENT AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

1. In consideration for receiving permission to participate as a vendor and/or psychic and/or performer and/or musician and/or instructor and/or presenter and/or volunteer and/or etc., at the Mother Nature Spring Craft, Gift & Psychic Festival, I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant, Inc. &/ Laura Jacobs and/or Mario Carastro (hereinafter LJ and MC) and if applicable, the Board of Directors, the officers, volunteers, agents, or employees (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability, claims, demands, action and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, or otherwise, while participating in such activity, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted. I understand and agree that this extends to any persons that attend with me be it my staff, volunteer, family and/or friend. I understand and agree that I will assume full responsibility for the actions of those attending the event with me or on my behalf.

2. I hereby elect to voluntarily participate in said activity, and to enter the above-named premises and engage in such activity knowing that certain risk of harm are or may be inherent in the various activities contemplated herein and that the activity may be hazardous to me and my property. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OF LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of being engaged in such an activity, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES or otherwise. I understand and agree that this extends to any persons that attend with me be it my staff, volunteer, family and/or friend. I understand and agree that I will assume full responsibility for the actions of those attending the event with me or on my behalf.

3. I further hereby AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the RELEASEES from any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court cost and attorney's fees, that they may incur due to my participation in said activity, WHETHER CAUSED BY OR CONTRIBUTED TO IN WHOLE OR PART by any action or failure to act, negligence, breach of contract, or other misconduct on the part of RELEASEES or otherwise. I understand and agree that this extends to any persons that attend with me be it my staff, volunteer, family and/or friend. I understand and agree that I will assume full responsibility for the actions of those attending the event with me or on my behalf.

4. By submitting my payment, application and question answers, I am knowingly and willingly agreeing to the following: There will be no refunds given for any reason other than if there is already a paid vendor from the same company that I represent at the time when my application and payment is received. Spaces cannot be held - first payment per vendor/company receives the space. I will be notified by email if my application is unaccepted due to double representation. If I am a volunteer (volunteer includes but is not limited to: volunteer, floater, instructor, presenter, performer and/or musician) at this event, I agree and consent to and by submitting my application, I understand that I am giving express written permission to have a complete background and reference check and sex offender/pedophile search conducted about myself. I agree to supply personal information to event hosts when asked in order to have background and reference check and sex offender/pedophile search conducted. All vendors, psychics, healers, performers, instructors, presenters and volunteers will receive further details via email the week before the event date.

5. Terms & Conditions: Mother Nature Spring Craft, Gift & Psychic Festival, its affiliates and volunteers reserves the right to deny any application. All vendor, psychic and author locations will be sold and assigned on a first come, first served basis. Accommodation of location requests will be attempted, but cannot be guaranteed. Vendors, psychics and authors are responsible for all permits (if necessary). All event participants are responsible for their space cleanup, or will be charged a $50 clean-up fee.

6. Indemnification: I, my Company and my employees, subcontracted staff, family members and friends assisting me on Sunday, April 9, 2017 will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mother Nature Spring Craft, Gift & Psychic Festival, its officers, directors, partners, agents, members, employees and volunteers from and against any and all demands, claims, damages to persons or property, losses and liabilities, including reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of or caused by me and/or my employees, subcontracted staff members, family members and friends assisting me for the day noted above in connection with the provision of Mother Nature Spring Craft, Gift & Psychic Festival on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at The Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant and Ballroom – Cortlandt Manor, NY.

7. It is my express intent that this General Agreement and Release and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind the members of my family and spouse, if I am alive, and my heirs, assigns and personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the above named RELEASEES. I hereby further agree that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.

IN SUBMITTING MY PAYMENT AND APPLICATION IT SIGNIFIES MY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT AND RELEASE, AND I ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT I have read the foregoing General Agreement and Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement, understand it and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and I execute the Release For full, adequate, and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same.
