Description

We all need a little extra motivation on Mondays to get our week started. What better way to do so than in good company of likeminded individuals looking to keep each other accountable to do so? Whether you work, live or are visiting the neighborhood, start your week setting mindful intentions with meditation and slow morning flow on Mondays and Wednesdays every week this June.

Mondays with Masako Miyakawa –– Masako Miyakawa is known for her inclusive approach. Masako’s class infuses mindful movements, breath awareness, and safe alignments for everybody. Trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Aerial and Pre & Postnatal yoga, she has been teaching since 2004 and practicing since 2001. In addition to offering public classes & workshops, Masako is currently serving as the Co-Director of 300-Hour teacher training at Sacred Sounds Yoga in NYC. Instagram: @masako.yoga

Wednesdays with Sabrina Moscola –– Sabrina Moscola is a native New Yorker who started practicing yoga as a way of slowing down from city life. She is a 200 HR RYT, the Features Editor for NY YOGA + LIFE Magazine and guides meditative coloring and journaling workshops throughout the city. Having personally navigated recurring injury, she focuses classes on alignment and modifications, offering a practice that is kind to the joints. Instagram: @sabrinamarienyc

These classes are free and open to the public. Be sure to bring some water! Towels - optional.
