Please join us at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum for a sensory-friendly experience designed for children with ASD. Hosted by trained museum educators and area autism support providers, our Morning at the Museum offers a private, less-stimulating time to experience the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum with other families with similar life experience.
We’ve turned the lights and the noise down and are providing splash protection, sunglasses, and ear protection to help children with ASD enjoy the amazing exhibits and learning experiences the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum has to offer.
How Can I Prepare for the Visit?
To plan your visit to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, please view our A2HoM Sensory Friendly Story Guide at www.aahom.org/ASD to help you and your child get familliar with the Museum and its exhibits before you visit.
