Come enjoy a small group fundraiser for the Mormon Women Project.  Our evening will feature a panel discussion with BYU professors and authors Camille Fronk Olsen and Ann Madsen, as well as Heather Farrell of the blog Women in the Scriptures. You will have time to ask questions about what you hear and also enjoy a  light summer dessert. Come and bring your friends for a great night out! Suggested donation is $20.00 that can be paid in advance here or at the door.

About Ann Madsen

Ann N. Madsen, an Isaiah scholar and poetess, has taught ancient scripture at Brigham Young University for more than twenty years. She is the mother of three children and a Navajo foster son with her deceased husband, Truman. She is grandmother of sixteen.

About Camille Fronk Olsen

Born and reared in Tremonton, Utah, Camille Fronk Olson is an associate professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Utah State University, as well as a master’s degree in ancient Near Eastern studies and a Ph.D. in the sociology of the Middle East (her dissertation focused on Palestinian families in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip). Before joining the BYU faculty, she taught institute and seminary in the Salt Lake area and was dean of students at LDS Business College. Dr. Olson served a full-time mission to Toulouse, France, and she is married to Paul F. Olson.

About Heather Farrell

Heather Farrell is a graduate from Brigham Young University where she recieved her degree in Public Health and Women Studies. She is a self-proclaimed scripture nerd and loves to study about the lives of the women in the scriptures. She authors the blog Women in the Scriptures ( which is read weekly by thousands of readers around the world. She also recently published her first book , "The Gift of Giving Life: Rediscovering the Divine Nature of Pregnancy and Birth" ( Heather and her husband live in Bountiful, Utah and are the parents of three beautiful children.
