Ladd Foundation is proud to present a special evening in support of 1616, our cornerstone initiative dedicated to enriching the mental well-being of youth through sport.

Founded by 2x Stanley Cup Champion and B.C.-born Andrew Ladd, 1616 is a groundbreaking, virtually delivered program designed to strengthen the Confidence, Connection, and Character of youth athletes. Through powerful real-life stories from pro players, 1616 equips kids, parents, and coaches with the tools to face challenges head-on, grow together, and thrive both on and off the ice.

Today, 1616 is provided free of charge to more than 500 minor hockey teams across North America, including many here in British Columbia. The impact has been significant: creating environments where players don’t just develop as athletes, but as resilient, confident young people.

Proceeds from this evening will allow Ladd Foundation to invest directly in expanding 1616's enrollment in B.C., ensuring that even more youth teams have access to this transformative program. Together, we can continue building a culture of strength, connection, and well-being in sport.
