About this Event

Moores School Percussion Ensemble 2 (Virtual Livestream Performance)

The Moores School Percussion Ensemble II, under the direction of Alec Warren, will present their Spring 2021 concert on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 7:30pm in the Moores Opera House.

Under the direction of Alec Warren, the MSPE 2 will perform a series of small percussion trios and quartets, including Owen Clayton Condon's "Fractalia," Nebojsa Zivkovic's "Trio per Uno," Nigel Westlake’s "Omphalo Centric Lecture," and "Jazz on Saturn" by Casey Cangelosi. The program also includes two works for larger percussion orchestra: Adam Silverman’s "Gasoline Rainbow" composed for eight percussionists, and "Twisted Proverbs" composed by Lynn Glassock for ten percussionists.

The performance will also be presented live to a limited audience with enhanced safety and sanitization practices in place at the venue. The RSVP for the live in-person performance can be found here.
