Moon Tribe sound and movement journey

Moon Tribe sound and movement journey

By Stuart Dinwoodie

Overview

An evening cleansing your body and spirit, exploring your own personal journey assisted with song, sitar, tabla and African drumming

The evening has a flow, beginning with a small opening ritual honouring the directions and the ancesters , followed by simple songs or chants, also some silly voice and movement games to loosen up and connect with our fellows in the tribe. The main journey begins with the warm flow of the sitar and tabla progressing into more percusive rhythms with the drums, rising to an ecstatic peak and slowly winding down to a wee sound bath and stillness, ending in a closing riutual and a little food for us to gather and chat. Parts of this journey may take you into contact with others , exploring dance and movement together or you may stay solo, exploring deeper inside your self. As in life, our journeys are both a collective and individual experience. We aim to provide a space and atmosphere that feels inclusive and safe for individual to let go, connect and explore. You can be as light or as deep as you need.
